Merle Hoffman met with students from Queen’s College at an event organized by Karen Weingartner, Professor of Women and Gender Studies. Merle discussed the history of abortion in New York City, including how she founded one of the first legal abortion clinics in the country, three years prior to Roe v Wade. They also discussed internship opportunities at Choices Women’s Medical Center.
